SF/F/H preferences:

When I write SF/F/H, it's ... well, it's pretty darned rare, to tell the truth. My ventures can be classified as epic fantasy, dark sword-and-sorcery, light futuristic romance, contemporary Gothic; someday, I'll find my niche.

I like to review science fiction and fantasy and horror. Here are the details you may or may not find pertinent:

Science Fiction: My tastes in science fiction have been called bi-polar. I like "deep" sociologicals, and I'm fond of out-and-out space opera. Biologicals and light cyberpunk also fall somewhere in the mix.

Fantasy: Great honkin' big epic sprawling ... er, yeah, that's the kind of fantasy I like.

Horror: I like just about anything that's got some logic to it, no matter how twisted the logic.

Publications, if any:

Publications of my very own? Minor. Unimportant. Trust me. I've invested more time in editing and ghostwriting than I have my own work.

Anything else you think would interest other members:

I'm thirty-something, with no children, two cats (Velcro and Vader), and a husband who's a certified genius. My last name used to be 'Strouse' for those of you who keep track of these things.

Other than working (I'm currently a technical support wonk for one of Lucent Technologies' software divisions), writing, trying to trick myself into physical fitness, and keeping various bath shops in business, I have fun pretending to be a college student again. At the moment, I'm pursuing a social sciences trifecta: history, anthropology and psychology.
