How many submissions is fair?

Postby crit33916 » Fri Feb 23, 2018 10:33 pm

I've only recently submitted my first piece for Critique, and I have a bunch of other bits and bobs- first chapters, finished or almost-finished Short Story drafts, all either ready for people to look at or nearly there.

Something I couldn't see an answer for- what's a fair rate at which to submit stuff? I don't want to spam the site, but I'd be interested in seeing what things I've started work and what don't.

So: how many submissions is too many?

The answer is, "The problem is not with how many, but how often they will come up." You can submit all you want, but only one at a time will come up and it might be a while before another comes up. You thus should learn to only submit one at a time with a couple of weeks between (at the best).
I will not deny myself having my opinions.
